The mission of the Friends of the College-Rolando Library is to support this branch by promoting development of literate citizens, raising funds for increased acquisitions and community programs, and increasing awareness of the library and its resources for the public.

Friends at City Council Meeting

Friends News

Monday, September 19, 2011, was declared "Friends of the College-Rolando Library Day" by the San Diego City Council.

The Friends were represented by Armin & Rhea Kuhlman, E.T. Perry, Marie Grace, Rosary Nepi, Hollis Johnson, branch librarian, Sara King and City Library Director, Deborah Barrow.

Initiated by Councilmember Marti Emerald, the proclamation was presented to acknowledge the group's efforts towards fundraising, volunteer support, programming support and book sales.
